Government taking our social media

Social Media was always a source where you could go on the app and do anything you want on it and it's so easy.Now the government is thinkinking to change some things up

.They have people paying for your social media.

3 to 2 vote along the party for it to be paid for.

I personally don't think it's actually a best way to go.The Social Medias they will make users pay for is Google,Twitter,Youtube,Snapchat,Instagram etc. They want our google to get paid for,but what are the schools going to do?Majority of schools use Google for learning purposes.Each student has a google account.What will they do?Will they add that onto a school fee? Schools also use Youtube for educational purposes.I slightly find it useless in a way it's not like its Netflix where your watching movies that is understandable because thats other peoples Movies and they have tons of movies and you pay monthly.Although with our social media it's ours we are controlling it ourselves it's our profiles we are posting. Another con if we do have to pay for our social media is that no one will want to pay for all of our social media.The makers won't make anything off of that.They are better off having it for free and having tons of users which still gives them that much more money but if you have little user and is having them pay they are getting less of a percent out of it.I know this because tons of users know say they wouldn't use social media anymore.

In conclusion i strongly think this is a waste of time.The internet is very important to society right now so therefore i believe if this passes with congress the government is headed in a wrong direction for the internet.
